  • Safe Loading Dock Solutions This state-of-the-art loading dock includes high tech truck restraints, hydraulic dock levelers with combination control panels and overhead doors with safety features. The overhead doors are interlocked with the dock levelers which include safety gates to prevent personnel or equipment from accident or injury when the door is open.

Bode installed 6 of these large doors for the client, each equipped with 50,000 cycle springs and various safety devices.

Safety Training

In our continuous effort for safety and product training, we recently conducted Fire Safety training with the Londonderry Fire Department.  Every person at Bode Equipment Company participated in the training event.  The training was mixed among a test, videos and hands on fire extinguisher training.  Thank you to Londonderry's Fire Marshall Brian Johnson for conducting a thorough and informative course.  Thank you to the Londonderry Fire Department for bringing over one of the vehicles to assist in the training.

Dock & Door News

Poweramp has introduced an air bag design dock leveler that is designed for wet and moist enviroments.  This air bladder is similar to the one used in trailer suspensions.  We can hook it up to in-plant air and all electrical connections are eliminated from the base of the unit.  Check out the Poweramp video and specification details on their web site below.

Southworth Products recently acquired Lift'N Buddy.  In the first year, this product will be distributed through key Southworth distributors.  Bode Equipment Company has been a proud distributor of Southworth products throughout the New England region.  The Lift'N Buddy is a unique product that offers the lifting ability like a stacker but the maneuverability of a 2-wheeled dolly.  The aluminim construction allows the unit to weigh in at 80 lbs. but offers a lifting capacity up to 500 lbs.  The unit arrives fully equipped with a battery and charger.  We are offering a free demo throughout April, May and June.  Call us today to schedule your free demo.
