Loading Docks & Doors

The first products Bode Equipment sold back in 1975 were dock levelers, elevating docks, dock seals, impact doors and dock bumpers. Truck restraints have become an important safety device on dock equipment. By securing trucks to the loading dock wall during loading and unloading, trucks are held in position. The Powerhook, shown below, retracts into the dock wall and protects the restraint from snow, ice, and debris.

In the late 1980’s we began actively selling and installing high speed doors when this market emerged. These doors can travel up to 100” per second and are commonly found in business areas requiring environmental separation. In the last six years security doors with high speed capability has attracted industry attention.

When customers saw us installing rapid roll doors they naturally wanted service to their more common sectional, fire and rolling steel doors. We started our own in house service department in 2003. Bode expanded our distributor lines to offer a complete commercial door package.

We found a large demand for dependable long term service to these products and Bode Equipment Company presently services some of New England’s largest manufacturing and distribution centers.
