Utility Company Better Served with a Partnership Solution

Bode partnered with one of the states leading contractors to design and build the parts and equipment warehouse for New England's leading energy provider.

For this project, efficient and flexible use of the space needed to be balanced with accommodating significant foot traffic and quick access to a variety of materials for the many crew members stocking their trucks for that day's service calls. Significant to the operation of the facility was the installation of a freight elevator for fast and safe transport of materials to and from the third floor mezzanine.

Bode utilized a multitude of material handling solutions and products to deliver a well organized, efficient storage space for the customer's staff. Heavy duty racking and shelving units were put in place to compartmentalize the various parts and tools while vertical lifts were added to make use of overhead space for additional storage.

The lift was installed in such a way as to make the least impact on physical work space and utilized offset elevator doors to allow for ease of use at both the ground and upper levels. Brightly colored guardrails were added for safety and custom work tables were installed to meet the specialized needs of the organization making for easier assembly of components.

Barrier Arm Design/Install

Bode partnered with Sullivan Construction on this government building project in Bedford, NH. This automated barrier arm was installed to help control traffic flow and provide added security to the facility.

Multiple Overhead Doors

Brought in by the general contractor for the project, Bode was tasked with installing the multiple overhead doors for this warehouse facility. To meet the tight timeframe of the project, Bode worked simultaneously with the contractor as the building was constructed, correctly installing and aligning the doors for a proper seal without the final floor surface in place.
